On Applying Neighbor-WAL Protocol to Dependable Fat-Btrees

We have proposed n-GLL+PL+stg method in order to make the parallel directory structure, Fat-Btree, reliable. The n-GLL+PL+stg combines a staggered data allocation, global logging, and physiological logging. In this paper, we discuss a case in which neighbor-WAL protocol is applied to the Fat-Btree so that the performance of the transaction processing can be improved without reducing its high reliability.
